I believe honesty and loyalty are two big characteristics that leaders must show to be a successful leader. It’s nothing worse than having a leader build a bond but to only turn on senior employees. Honesty is next you have to be able to tell the truth so employees can trust you. Leadership influence unites people together in order to meet a common goal to accomplish mission objectives and meet the end state of leaders vision (Yukl 2012)
