CLASSMATE’S POST
The most valuable thing I learned was the numerous logistics that go into the program and planning stages. I think it is easy to thing of a system in terms of “this is what you do” but we never talk about how, when, or why it is done. We never speak about the trial and error that goes into it and how certain things are re done. I never once thought about how surveys/surveying and questionnaires play a role. I was just at the doctor the other day and found doing one annoying and I often found myself saying that throughout the years but now, to be able to look at it through the eyes of planning and programming makes me see it completely different and I understand the purpose. I think this entire course gives the “unseen” and under appreciated aspects of the health field center stage and we look at the trial and error of processes and see how complex and intricate these structures are. Even after so much education I never really understood the importance or even at all many times until now.
